General Info

Ottershine is a quiet warrior. He was studious as an apprentice and loves to learn new things. He tends to space out easily, typically fascinated by a new color in the sky or some animal has caught his attention. He has become a skillful hunter by studying the everyday patterns of various types of prey. His skills and mind for observation has him on most hunting patrols and an exceptional mentor. Minnowpelt calls Ottershine her protegee.

Ottershine’s skills of observation also allow him to easily pick up on weaknesses in an enemy’s defense during a fight quickly. He is also taken to every gathering since his talent was discovered in order to gather information on cats of other clans. The information he gathers has allowed him to determine who is a true threat and which leaders and deputies are most likely to lead their clan to battle. Stormstar, Oakstar, and Icestar keep him as one of their advisers and he is happy to help when he isn’t zoned out studying something new.

His observational skills also led him to fall in love with a beauty from Thunderclan, Shadeflight. The two had a sweet, but brief relationship. Ottershine was a vital part of his clan and Shadeflight loved Thunderclan too much to leave it. They parted ways after an explosive fight over kits. Shadeflight did not want kits, but Ottershine did. Shadeflight broke up with Ottershine and the two refuse to even look at each other anymore.

Personality

Ottershine is analytical, clever, and generally very positive. He is very in tune with the emotional state of others, and this causes his emotions to be affected as well. He is not close with many of his clan mates, which makes him appear cold. Ottershine highly intelligent and very opinionated.

Fun Facts

- Ottershine had the opportunity to become mates with Rosepatch, but denied her because of the age difference

- Ottershine knows what Darkshine is doing, but trusts her because he believes it to be the will of Starclan

- Ottershine is ashmaed to be related to Sparkheart and Lionbreeze, but gets along well with the rest of his family
